Returns and refunds

Choosing the right weight for a weighted blanket does not always happen on the first try. So we give you time to try it at home, in your own bed, at your own pace.

30-night trial

You have a 30-night trial from the day you receive your order. If the blanket is not right for you, you can return it to us and we will refund the price of the item.

This trial is a commercial commitment from Tyngda. It is in addition to your legal rights and does not replace them.

Weight exchange

You like the model, but the weight is not right for you? During your trial, we will arrange an exchange for another weight available in the same model. Write to us stating your current weight and the weight you would like. To help you choose, see our weight guide.

14-day legal right of withdrawal

In accordance with the regulations applicable to distance selling, you also have a 14-day right of withdrawal from receipt of the product, without having to give any reason. This legal right is in addition to our 30-night trial.

To exercise it, simply send us a clear statement, for example by email to contact@tyngda.com, or use the model form below. You must then send the product back no later than 14 days after informing us of your decision.

Return conditions

For your return to be accepted, the product must be:

• clean and in good condition;
• complete: cover, insert and any accessories supplied;
• in its original packaging if possible, or otherwise carefully protected for transport.

Under the legal right of withdrawal, you may be held liable for any diminished value of the product resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning.

How to return

1. Write to us at contact@tyngda.com stating your order number, the product concerned and your request (return, weight exchange or withdrawal).
2. We will send you the return instructions: address, how to prepare the parcel and, where applicable, any documents to include.
3. Pack the product carefully and send it according to these instructions. Keep your proof of postage.

Please do not send a parcel back without contacting us first: without instructions, we would not be able to identify your return quickly.

Refunds

Refunds are made using the payment method used for the order, unless you expressly agree to another method, and at no cost to you.

They are made within a maximum of 14 days. In the case of legal withdrawal, this period runs from the day we are informed of your decision; however, we may withhold the refund until we have received the returned product or until you have supplied proof of having sent it, whichever is earlier. Under the 30-night trial, the price of the item is refunded no later than 14 days after we receive the return.

Damaged or defective product

If your product arrives damaged or has a defect, contact us as soon as possible at contact@tyngda.com with your order number and photos. Independently of the trial and the right of withdrawal, you benefit from:

• the legal guarantee of conformity, for 2 years from delivery of the goods, which allows you to have the product repaired or replaced, or failing that, to obtain a price reduction or cancellation of the sale;
• the guarantee against hidden defects, which you can invoke within 2 years of discovering the defect.
