Description
A cover protects your weighted blanket, makes it easier to care for and lets you change the feel as the seasons go by. Our covers come in two versions: all-season in velvet, for cool nights, and summer in cotton, more breathable when it’s warm. They’re available in five sizes, from 90 x 120 cm to 150 x 220 cm, and with two fastening systems. Before ordering, there’s just one thing to check: compatibility with your blanket.
Which cover for which blanket?
The fastening system determines compatibility:
- Tie fastenings: for our standard blankets with ties, namely the Cotton weighted blanket, the Winter weighted blanket, the Kids weighted blanket, the weighted duvet and the 135 x 200 cm inserts of the blanket for two.
- Zip: only for the Premium weighted blanket.
- Not compatible: the all-in-one models with no cover, namely the Sensory, Summer, Linen, Soft and Travel blankets.
Then choose the same size as your blanket. In 135 x 200 cm and 150 x 220 cm, all colours are available. In 110 x 170 cm, 100 x 150 cm and 90 x 120 cm, the cover with ties comes in grey or Poseidon blue (all-season), and the zipped cover in grey.
Materials and colours
The all-season cover is velvet on the top and underside: a soft, warm feel for autumn and winter. Colours: grey, Poseidon blue, yellow and pink. The summer cover is made of organic cotton (100%), more breathable for warm nights. Colours: grey, white and terracotta orange. Depending on the size, a cover weighs between 500 g and 1 kg. The textiles are OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified and made in Europe.

Covers with ties: $54.90 for 90 x 120 cm, $65.90 for 100 x 150 cm, $76.90 for 110 x 170 cm, $99.90 for 135 x 200 cm and $119.90 for 150 x 220 cm. Zipped covers: from $76.90 to $139.90 depending on the size.
Care
The cover is machine washable at 40 °C maximum. Remove it from the insert before washing, then leave it to air dry. Having a second cover means your blanket stays dressed while the other one dries, and you wash the heavier insert less often.
A new cover or a new blanket?
If your Cotton blanket works for you in summer and you’d like more warmth in winter, an all-season velvet cover is often all you need: no need to buy a whole new blanket. If, on the other hand, you’d prefer a model with no cover, the Summer weighted blanket is used just as it is, all year round in a heated bedroom.

Which cover fits my blanket?
A cover with ties for the Cotton, Winter and Kids blankets, the weighted duvet and the inserts of the blanket for two; a zipped cover for the Premium only.
Can I use it on the Sensory or Summer blanket?
No. The all-in-one models (Sensory, Summer, Linen, Soft, Travel) have no fastenings and aren't designed for a cover.
Which size should I choose?
The same as your blanket. For example, a 135 x 200 cm cover for a 135 x 200 cm blanket.
Velvet or cotton?
Velvet is warmer, for autumn and winter. Organic cotton is more breathable, for summer or if you tend to run hot.
Are all colours available in the smaller sizes?
In 90 x 120, 100 x 150 and 110 x 170 cm, the cover with ties comes in grey or Poseidon blue, and the zipped cover in grey.
How do I wash it?
In the machine at 40 °C maximum, after removing it from the insert, then air dry.
