The Cotton weighted blanket is our all-rounder, designed both for people discovering weighted blankets for the first time and for regulars who want an easy-going blanket all year round. Its 100% cotton cover, soft on both sides, lets air circulate, while the weighted insert rests on your body with gentle, enveloping pressure. Many people choose it to support a calmer bedtime routine, or simply to enjoy that cocooning feeling while reading in the evening. Everyone experiences it differently, which is why you have 30 nights to try it at home.
A two-part design: cotton cover and weighted insert
The blanket is made up of an insert filled with glass microbeads and a removable cover. The insert is quilted into compartments, so the microbeads stay evenly spread and the weight doesn’t slide towards the edges during the night. The cover attaches to the insert with ties, which keeps it firmly in place and lets you remove it in a few minutes for washing.

Which weight should you choose?
The most common rule is to choose a weighted blanket of around 10% of your body weight. If you’re torn between two weights, go for the lighter one: the feeling should always stay comfortable, never oppressive.

Caring for your Cotton weighted blanket
The big advantage of this model is its removable cover: that’s the part you’ll wash most often. Undo the ties, then machine wash the cover at 40 °C maximum. The insert needs washing less often, separately, at 30 °C maximum on a delicate cycle. First check that your machine can handle the weight. Air dry, flat or hanging, without a tumble dryer, to keep the microbeads evenly spread.
Cotton, Summer or Winter: which model is right for you?
The Cotton blanket is the most versatile thanks to its removable cover. If you often run hot and prefer a one-piece blanket with no cover to attach, the Summer weighted blanket keeps layers to a minimum. If you feel the cold or your bedroom is cool, the Winter weighted blanket combines velvet and thick padding for extra warmth. You can also change the look with an extra cover with ties, in an all-season or summer version.

Which weight should I choose for the Cotton weighted blanket?
Aim for around 10% of your body weight: 7 kg for 70 kg, for example. If you're torn between two weights, choose the lighter one. If the weight isn't right for you, we'll arrange an exchange.
Why is the 3 kg only available in 135 x 200 cm?
The larger 150 x 220 cm size comes in 5 to 11 kg. The lighter 3 kg weight is only available in 135 x 200 cm.
Will I get too hot under this blanket?
The 100% cotton cover is breathable, which suits most sleepers all year round. If you get very hot at night, the Summer weighted blanket, with no cover, keeps layers to an even greater minimum.
How do I wash the blanket?
Machine wash the cover at 40 °C maximum. The insert needs washing less often, separately, at 30 °C on a delicate cycle, if your machine can handle the weight. Air dry, without a tumble dryer.
Can I buy a replacement cover?
Yes. Our covers with ties fit this blanket, in an all-season or summer version, as long as you choose the same size.
Is it suitable for a child?
For a child, choose our Kids weighted blanket, with sizes and weights designed for children. Never under 3 years old or under 15 kg; the child must be able to remove it on their own and an adult should check the weight.
