Weighted Blanket for Two

Sharing a bed doesn’t mean sharing the same weight. The Weighted Blanket for Two brings together two independent inserts side by side, so that each of you enjoys gentle, enveloping pressure suited to your build. It’s made for couples who like to sleep under the same blanket while keeping their own feel. The cocoon effect is the same as under an individual blanket, with no compromise on your partner’s weight.

Two inserts, one blanket

The set measures 270 x 200 cm and consists of two 135 x 200 cm inserts. Each insert combines a cotton shell, a cotton and fibre filling, and glass microbeads spread evenly in compartments for consistent pressure over the whole body. A strap system lets you join the two halves in seconds, or separate them to use on their own.

The pack includes:

• two 135 x 200 cm weighted inserts;
• one large 270 x 200 cm velvet cover that covers both inserts joined together;
• two individual 135 x 200 cm covers, to use each insert separately.

The textiles are OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified and the blanket is made in Europe.

Which weight should you choose?

You choose the weight per insert, from 4 to 12 kg. The guideline: around 10% of each sleeper’s body weight. If you’re torn between two weights, choose the lighter one.

Example: a person weighing 50 kg aims for around 5 kg, a person weighing 70 kg around 7 kg. With our even-numbered weights, the first will choose 4 kg and the second 6 kg, going for the lower weight each time. Simply choose two weights on the product page: “Person 1 weight” and “Person 2 weight”. If one of the weights isn’t right, we’ll arrange an exchange for a different weight.

Care

The covers come off and are machine washable at 40 °C maximum. The inserts are washed separately at 30 °C maximum on a delicate cycle with a low spin; check that your machine’s capacity can handle their weight. Air dry, flat or hanging, without a tumble dryer. Thanks to the covers, the inserts only need washing occasionally.

One blanket for two or two individual blankets?

If you’d each rather have your own blanket, two 135 x 200 cm Cotton weighted blankets give you the same freedom of weight, with a breathable cotton cover. For a warmer feel in winter, the Winter weighted blanket also comes in 150 x 220 cm. The version for two remains the most practical for a large bed: one cover, one quick move when making the bed, and a weight that suits each of you.

As with any weighted blanket, everyone experiences it differently: give yourselves a few evenings to get used to the pressure, starting with relaxing moments before bed.
