Weighted Robe in Cotton and Velvet

Some evenings you simply want to feel wrapped up, without heading under the duvet just yet. The weighted robe was designed for those moments: the softness of a cotton and velvet robe, plus a 1.5 kg weighted collar that applies light, even pressure to your neck and shoulders. Many people look for one to mark the end of the day, read quietly or create a more soothing evening ritual. How it feels varies from person to person, which is exactly why the weight is removable.

Design and materials: cotton, velvet and a removable weighted collar

The outer fabric combines 60% cotton and 40% soft plush (velvet), for a plush feel without bulk. Inside, a 100% cotton lining stays comfortable against your skin, even after hours of wear.

The weight is concentrated in a removable 1.5 kg collar, filled with glass microbeads and attached with a zip. This places the weight around the neck and across the top of the shoulders, where pressure is felt most clearly, while the rest of the garment stays supple and easy to wear.

With or without the weight: your choice

You can wear the weighted robe with its collar for an enveloping feel, or remove the collar and wear it as a regular robe. For the first few days, start with short periods, for example while reading or during a quiet moment, then wear it longer if you enjoy the feeling. If the weight feels like too much, simply remove the collar: there’s no need to keep it on.

Caring for your weighted robe

Care is as simple as for an ordinary robe. Open the zip, remove the weighted collar and put it in its pouch, then machine wash the robe following the instructions on the care label. Let it air dry to keep the velvet soft. Once dry, put the collar back in place and close the zip.

Because the collar comes off, you can wash the garment as often as you need without handling the weight each time.
