White Weighted Duvet

The weighted duvet, also known as a weighted comforter, is for anyone who wants the gentle pressure of a weighted blanket with the look of a classic duvet. White and quilted, it blends in with your bed linen and can be dressed in the cover of your choice. It comes in the two most common sizes and in five weights, from the lightest to the most enveloping.

Important: the weighted duvet is sold without a cover. The weight shown is that of the duvet alone; it does not include the weight of a cover.

Composition and structure

Its cotton shell contains glass microbeads distributed in compartments, which keep the weight in place and provide consistent pressure over the whole body. An insulating layer gives it the loft of a duvet. The textiles are OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified and it’s made in Europe.

• weights: 2.5 kg, 4.5 kg, 6.5 kg, 8.5 kg or 10.5 kg;
• quilted white finish.

Which weight should you choose?

Aim for around 10% of your body weight. If you’re torn between two weights, choose the lighter one.

The 2.5 kg weight is the lightest in our adult range. For a child, choose our Kids weighted blanket, designed for their build, and follow the safety guidelines. If the weight you receive isn’t right for you, we’ll arrange an exchange for a different weight.

Which cover should you choose?

The duvet takes a weighted blanket cover in the same size, with tie fastenings. Zipped covers are made only for the Premium blanket and are not suitable. Choose the all-season velvet version for winter, or the cotton summer version for warm nights. Always check the size and the fastening system before ordering.

Care

Before any wash, check that your machine’s capacity can handle the weight of the duvet. Wash it at 30 °C maximum on a delicate cycle, with no spin or a low spin. Air dry it, spread out or hanging. Do not tumble dry and do not iron. With a cover on, the duvet only needs washing occasionally.

Weighted duvet or blanket with a cover?

The weighted duvet leaves you free to choose your cover and is ideal if you already own a compatible one. For a complete solution as soon as it arrives, the Cotton weighted blanket comes with its cotton cover. If you don’t want a cover at all, the Summer weighted blanket is used just as it is.

Everyone experiences it differently: give yourself a few nights to get used to the pressure.
