How the 270 × 200 cm blanket works
- Two independent 135 × 200 cm cotton inner blankets, filled with glass microbeads, cotton and fibres.
- Straps to join them into a single blanket or keep them apart.
- Delivered with a large 270 × 200 cm velvet cover and two individual 135 × 200 cm covers.
- Weights of 4, 6, 8, 10 or 12 kg per inner blanket, each about 10% of its sleeper’s body weight.

Why we don’t make a 220 × 240 cm weighted duvet
Many people search for a 220 × 240 cm weighted duvet, but we have chosen not to make this size, for two reasons:
- One weight for two bodies. A one-piece weighted duvet forces the same weight on both people, whereas the 10% rule is individual.
- A blanket that hangs over the bed. A 220 × 240 cm duvet is designed to cover the whole bed. A weighted blanket, on the other hand, should cover the body without hanging over the sides, otherwise the weight pulls it towards the floor.

The alternative: two single blankets
This is often the most flexible solution. Each person chooses their own model, weight and fabric: a Summer blanket for the one who runs hot, a Winter for the one who feels the cold. The covers wash at 40 °C, the inner blankets at 30 °C on a delicate cycle. Wash the inner blankets separately and check your machine’s capacity before starting a wash.
